Queen Elizabeth II, is the UK’s longest-serving monarch (birth on 21 April 1926). Queen Elizabeth died Tuesday (8 September 2022) in Balmora at age 96 after reigning for 70 years. after her death prince, Charles III officially become king and Camilla will become the UK’s queen.

 In 1952 Elizabeth became queen and witnessed various social changes.

UK’s prime minister Ms. Liss truss, who was appointed by Queen Elizabeth on Tuesday said, the monarch was the rock on which modern Britain was built, who had “provided us with the stability and strength that we needed”

In 1953 when the final coronation did. After post world war the transition from empire to the commonwealth, the end of the cold war, and the UK’s entry into and withdrawal from the European Union.

Her reign spanned 15 prime ministers starting with Winston Churchill born in 1874 and including Ms. Liss truss, born 101 years later in 1975.

How Elizabeth became the queen?

The queen was born Elizabeth alexander Mary Windsor, in may fair London on 21 April 1926. Few could have foreseen she would become monarch but in December 1936 her uncle, Edward VII, the twice-divorced American, Wallis Simpson.

Elizabeth’s father became king George VI and, where Elizabeth age is 10 became theirs to the throne.

After their parents rejected the suggestion they were evacuated to Canada. Elizabeth married Philip, prince of Greece on 20 November 1947, with the prince taking the title of duke of Edinburgh.

Princess Elizabeth was in Kenya in 1952 representing the ailing king when the news that her father died.

She immediately returned to London as the new queen.

Elizabeth was crowned on (2 June 1953) at the age of 27, in Infront of a record TV audience estimated at more than 20 million people.

Their first son, Charles was born in 1948, followed by Princess Anne in 1950, prince Andrew in 1960, and prince Edward in 1964
